The Wye Valley Learning Network was formed from Ross West and Ross East Schools Clusters. It was officially launched in April 2011 and the principal aim remains "to provide the best collaborative learning experiences for our school communities."
This has been exemplified by the subsequent work of the group, which has set up groups for staff to research and work together; given opportunities for children from each school to meet and take part in joint activities; and provided a sounding post for Headteachers to discuss current practice and support one another constructively in an atmosphere of genuine openness and trust.
