Brampton Abbotts Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England co-educational school, situated in the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire.

We can cater for 140 pupils and aim to keep class numbers as low as possible in order to ensure each child can reach their full potential. Each of our 5 classes are led by enthusiastic and experienced teachers and are supported by committed teaching assistants. Our children are valued and nurtured. Providing excellent pastoral care is a very important aspect of our school.

The building is well-equipped and spacious, having been extended to provide more small study areas, an excellent new classroom for our oldest children and an on-site independently run Nursery. This means that there is provision for wrap around care for children from 0-11 on the same site, including breakfast club and after-school care.

Brampton Abbotts CE Primary School has once again received a Good rating from Ofsted. This comes as no surprise to us, as we continue to strive for excellence in everything we do. During the penultimate week of the Autumn term in 2023, Ofsted visited our school and we are pleased to report that the inspectors were impressed with the positive atmosphere and the outstanding efforts of our pupils.

Congratulations to everyone at Brampton Abbotts CE Primary School for this fantastic achievement. Let us continue working together to provide the best education and opportunities for our children.
