Brampton Abbotts Church of England Primary School, situated in the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire, is a Voluntary Aided Church of England school which can cater for 140 children. We aim to keep class numbers as low as possible in order to ensure each child can reach their full potential. Each of our 5 classes is led by enthusiastic and experienced teachers and is supported by committed teaching assistants. Our children are valued and nurtured. Providing excellent pastoral care is a very important aspect of our school.
The building is well-equipped and spacious, having been extended to provide more small study areas, an excellent new classroom for our oldest children and an on-site independently run Nursery. This means that there is provision for wrap around care for children from 0-11 on the same site, including breakfast club and after-school care.
Spring Gate Nursery work closely with the school to provide the very best transition between Nursery pre-school education and the school. Its purpose built facilities cater for children aged 0 to 5 and also provides breakfast and after-school care for school age children.

Brampton Abbotts is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School and therefore we are linked with St. Mary's Church in Ross-on-Wye.
As part of this working collaboration we will have one Headteacher, Mr Brearey. We will work together in a multitude of ways towards the mutual benefit of all of our pupils.
